Animals, Awards, Derbyshire, Farm, Films, Free range hens, Peak District,Filming for the awards Beautiful brilliant sunshine today here in Derbyshire for the video shoot for the Enjoy England Excellence Awards on 15th April, when we have been shortlisted in the Access for All category. David secured the starring role, whilst I was cast with a non speaking bit part in the distance - hey hoe! An awarding night out It is much appreciated to have ones efforts recognised by collegues, and I was very surprised to win the award when there was such stiff competition. Excel A...

The levels have been raised to match the new ramp and make easy access to the lawn for wheelchairs and those who prefer a level approach. Even the boss had to get down and dirty, trimming the ends of the turf rolls where they met...

Accessible Holidays, Animals, Building, Derbyshire, Family, Farm, Free range hens, Peak District, self catering holiday,David laying it on thick with his trowel! This week David has been busy building an easy access ramp into the new Daisybank self catering log cabin, in preparation for our first guests and a photo shoot of our new facilities. It will be brilliant for everyone - wheelchairs, pushchairs, guests who bring bikes and young children. It was quite a challenge to get the gradiant as gradual as possible - there was much pacing up and down, placing sticks and string, measuring and calculating, replacing sticks and string, referring back to the Nationa...
