Easy comfort, thoughtful touches

Everything's taken care of – from the crockery and utensils to the torch and OS maps with our favourite walks. You'll arrive to a welcome pack with homemade bread, Peak District milk and butter, fresh eggs from our free-range chickens and our handmade oatie biscuits. There’s proper ground coffee, locally made soap and seasonal flowers from the garden to brighten up your stay.

Dogs more than welcome!

Bring your dog on holiday. Swallow welcomes one large or two small dogs, and they'll be just as well looked after as you are. There's space to snooze inside, dog-friendly pub walks from the door, and even a warm outdoor shower to rinse off muddy paws. There's a lead anchor point so your dog can sunbathe outside your pod. Your doggy welcome pack includes towels, bowls, maps of our favourite walks, a soft throw for sofa snuggles, and even an "on holiday at Hoe Grange" dog tag – because holidays should be tail-wagging too.

There's no extra charge for dogs, just a refundable bond.

Eco glamping in the Peak District

Swallow is built from sustainable materials and powered by renewable energy, with an A+ energy rating and a sustainable ethos that runs through everything we do. From eco cleaning products to locally sourced extras, you can relax knowing your break is doing good too.

Countryside calm, on your terms

Slow mornings with a brew in hand. Fresh air and unhurried walks through the fields. Evenings spent toasting marshmallows round the fireside, or soaking in a hot tub if you fancy it. Whether you're planning long days out or simply craving a slower rhythm, Swallow gives you space to switch off and settle in.
