Strange times! As we move towards tighter restrictions we thought we would keep you updated with what’s happening here at Hoe Grange.
Book your Staycation
The Corona virus has brought many challenges both personally and business wise. I am sure we are not alone in this, but we try to stay as positive as possible. Book your staycation with us in the Peak District and you'll have something exciting to look forward to!
Locked down for now!
Here in the Derbyshire Peak District we are now in Tier 3, very high risk, Covid restrictions. Although unable to welcome guests at the moment we are still able to take bookings for future holidays, providing there are no more than six of you and you all belong to the same household.
Don’t forget when we reopen, we will continue to have contactless check ins and safe social distancing. Our housekeepers are all Covid cleaning trained and there are extra cleaning measures in place to ensure we all stay safe, as detailed below.
Book ahead
Although you may not be able to stay now, always look on the bright side of life - rather than focusing on what you can’t do now, plan ahead for what you can do!
You can book ahead for 2021 with confidence knowing you will get a full refund if you are still in strict measures at the time of your holiday. Having something positive to look forward to can make all the difference to your mental wellbeing.
Our extra measures to keep everyone safe!
We’ve been busy behind the scenes making changes to help keep everyone safe.
David and Felicity and all the housekeeping staff have completed a certified Cleaning and Infection Control course, including detailed Covid-19 procedures.

We have achieved the Visit England "We're Good to Go" Mark. This certification means we are following Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and have all the correct cleaning protocols, risk assessments and preparations in place for making your holiday as risk free as we can.
Here's what to expect when you come to stay
Arrival
- Our check in time is now slightly later at 4pm to enable us to carry out the extra cleaning measures
- We will be operating a self-check in, but will be on hand at a social distance if you need any help
- We will provide extra cleaning products and hand sanitiser to use during your stay
- When you enter your cabin or pod please take your shoes off and leave in the entrance
- We have removed non-essential items to reduce risk and make cleaning easier, but if you need anything let us know
Cleaning
- In addition to our usual thorough cleaning routines we will be sanitising all high touch surfaces with virucidal disinfectant spray
- In the cabins all cutlery and crockery and glasses will be run through the dishwasher ready for your arrival
- Remote controls are in a plastic bag to reduce risk
Laundry
- We will provide pillows, duvets, sheets and towels as usual. Pillow and mattress protectors will be changed between stays. If you feel happier bringing your own pillows and bedding just let us know
- Linen and towels are washed at 600C
How you can help us
- Adhere to social distancing during your stay
- Tell us immediately if you feel unwell
- Before you leave open all the windows and give the toilets a final flush
- Strip the beds and place linen and towels in the bags provided
- Empty all rubbish bins
Experiences
Some of our local Peak District attractions may not be open but there are plenty of wonderful walks from the door and you can still hire ou pizza oven or sit round the firepit in the twilight.
We will keep you updated on social media as to what pubs, cafes, attractions, and activities are open. Bear in mind that you will probably need to prebook tickets in advance.
Book with confidence!
We already have bookings for 2021 as our customers are thinking ahead to the glorious Spring sunshine, Easter bunnies and the lazy, hazy days of Summer. It's so important to have something positive to look forward to, so why not book your holiday at Hoe Grange now?
