David down yet another hole Final preparations means that David has been busy digging trenches yet again - this time for the waste pipes to connect up to the biodievsity sewage tank ready for the arrival of the new Daisybank log cabin on Monday. Yesterday's snow here in the Peak District has disappeared as quickly as it came, thank goodness, but it is a different story in Perth at the Island Leisure factory. This shows the drive and how we have been digging out each day, only for it to blow it all back in after a couple of hours. Accessible Holidays, Animals, Building, Farm, General, Peak District, Snow,The Peak District has certainly had its fair share of the early snow this year Anyone for Breakfast on the decking? Its bought our building plans to a grinding halt. We had to dig down to the road again this morning, through an average depth of about 20 inches of snow. It certainly makes looking after the animals more difficult, although the dogs seem to love it! Twix and Crunchie up to their neck in snow And as for our easy access cabins?? 4X4 only I'm afraid! Hopefully it won't last too long David...
