Time for some major maintenance In between getting the new Daisybank cabin up and running and while things are fairly quiet we have taken the opportunity to install new french doors in Hipley cabin. It is quite an exposed spot here in the Derbyshire hills and the old doors were beginning to let the wind and rain in. The new doors are a much higher specification, with K glass with a higher thermal value and a sturdy, tight fitting wood frame. This will hopefully reduce energy consumption and heating costs.
