Accessible Holidays, Cycling, Derbyshire, Family, General, Off-road wheelchair, Peak District, Tourism,David and I recently attended MSLife, a lifestyle and information event organised by the Multiple Sclerosis Society, featuring research talks from global experts, workshops to help people manage MS, lifestyle services and a wide variety of products. We were helping Visit England promote the National Accessible Scheme, which rates holiday accommodation on their mobility, hearing and visual facilities, so that guests can be confident of booking somewhere that suits specific needs. Accessible Holidays, Awards, Derbyshire, Eco, Food and drink, General, Tourism,Fantastic news, we have just heard that Hoe Grange Holidays has been selected as a finalist in the National Visit England Awards for Excellence for the second year running! This year we have been selected from a hotly contested field of candidates in the 'Sustainable Tourism' category. We have been invited to attend the Gala Presentation evening at the Athena, in Leicester on 22nd May, when we will find out whether we have won Gold, Silver, Bronze or Highly Commended.
