It was also rated M2 for accessibility under the National Accessability Scheme. It has a superb wetroom shower only missing M3 because of the standard kitchen lay out. Following requests from previous guests we have added to our range of accessible equipment with the purchase of an adjustable bed rail. Our resident watercolour artist Roger Allen recently opened his one man exhibition in Buxton at the Museum and Art Gallery. We attended the preview on March 6th and we were pleasantly surprised by the number of his paintings that showed our dairy herd that was sold last summer. It bought a bit of a lump to the throat to see the cows that we knew so well. One of the largest pictures named 'The collecting yard' showed the cows feeding in the yard waiting to be milked. We both thought that it would be nice to have that painting but unfortunately ...
Meanwhile up in Perth at the Island Leisure factory work commences on our new Rainster log cabin. The basic framework is put in place with all the doors and windows - notice that on this new model we have included a porch for all your coats and wellies, which will be much more practical than a shoe box in the lounge!
