All of Elliot's sheep have now lambed; Tia and Maria had two lambs each, whilst Coco and Channel had just one strong larger lamb each. All are doing well and growing fast with the help of their mums nutritious milk. Accessible Holidays, Awards, Derbyshire, Eco, Food and drink, General, Tourism,Fantastic news, we have just heard that Hoe Grange Holidays has been selected as a finalist in the National Visit England Awards for Excellence for the second year running! This year we have been selected from a hotly contested field of candidates in the 'Sustainable Tourism' category. We have been invited to attend the Gala Presentation evening at the Athena, in Leicester on 22nd May, when we will find out whether we have won Gold, Silver, Bronze or Highly Commended. The first guest with children since our new playground tractor was installed had a great time playing at being Farmer Brown, driving the wooden Massey Ferguson for hours at a time. This is something our eldest son Michael will know a lot about by the end of the summer, although his tractor will not be made of wood! Michael and a hand full of mates from Harper Adams University in Shropshire are to undertake a mammoth charity tractor drive, from Dover Castle in Kent to Lands End in Cornwall to John 'O Groats, Scotland and then back to Coventry...

Patrick looked around our award winning, self catering log cabins and was interested to discuss the tourism industry at grass roots level.
