Accessible Holidays, Animals, Building, Farm, General, Peak District, Snow,The Peak District has certainly had its fair share of the early snow this year Anyone for Breakfast on the decking? As we are digging into the hill side more this time and knew it was a bit rocky we went for a bigger digger - this 13 tonne tracked machine should be the boss of the job. Digging for Daisybank That is until you hit very big rocks... The driver did manage to roll them about, but will have to come back on Monday with a rock breaker, we will also have to break a few bits out that won...
Construction on the new Daisybank cabin continues up in the Island Leisure factory in Scotland. As you can see there are three cabins currently under construction. Our Daisybank is the one in the middle of the picture at the back of the factory, with the porch extension. Daisybank under construction Outer cladding completed The outer cladding is now completed and the roof frame is in place ready for tiling. Windows and door frames are yet to be installed, but it's quite exciting to see the structure come to life. Meanwhile back here at Hoe ...
