Tissington Well Dressings 2016
May 12, 2016
Animals, Derbyshire, History, Peak District, Tissington, Well Dressings,One of my favourite events of the year is Tissington Well Dressings. Accessible Holidays, Animals, deaf, Derbyshire, Disabled Access DAy, Off-road wheelchair, Peak District, self catering holiday,Just a few highlights from our open day celebrating Disabled Access Day. Disabled Access Day is sponsored by Euan’s Guide: a really useful listing and review site that helps disabled people and their families know which venues are truly accessible. Disabled Access Day came about after Paul Ralph, a powerchair user, went to a ‘try it out day’ at his local bus company: the open day reassured him how ticketing worked and if his powerchair would fit on the bus. This positive experience gave Paul the idea to organise the first Disable Access...
