Whichever market you choose, you're bound to discover lots of unusual gifts and delicious delights that you won't find in the high street shops.

Chatsworth Christmas Market is one of the best outdoor Christmas markets in the country. Browse more than 100 stalls offering a wide range of Christmas gifts and decorations, set against the stunning backdrop of Chatsworth House. Enjoy a mulled wine or a German beer, sample delicious foods whilst listening to live music. It’s sure to get you in the festive spirit.
8th November to 14th December 2025. Free entry but car park tickets must be booked in advance, £25 per car.

If you haven’t done your Christmas shopping yet, Haddon Hall is the place to go! Not only will you find the finest artisans show casing their handcrafted and unusual products, but you will also be able to enjoy this magnificent Medieval Manor superbly decorated for Christmas. There is something for everyone from, jewellery, candles, woodwork, art, stationery, and delicious food. Alternatively you could enjoy an evening candlelit tour with dinner.

Browse more than 60 hand-selected stalls selling local artisan foods and gifts in the beauty of Shottle Hall. From homemade food, jewellery, silverware, pottery, to gifts and accessories for the home and garden. You'll find plenty of inspiration for those hard to buy gifts!

A quintessential English Christmas Market. See the charming streets, courtyards and alleyways of the delightful market town of Bakewell brought to life with a Christmas sparkle. As well as the town shops you can browse the market stalls packed with local artisan products on Market Street, Granby Road and Riverside Crescent. At Bakewell Christmas Market you’re sure to find something unique to gift your loved ones and the children will love the fair rides or having breakfast with Santa.
15th and 16th November 2025, 9am to 5pm. Free.
Enjoy 20 stalls of local artisan makers, including gin, bean-to-bar chocolate, candles, art and jewellery and more at the historic estate in the heart of the Peak District. Make a fabulously festive day of it and wander round the gardens, and add a Christmas tour of the house.

Brand new for 2025, this Christmas makers' market takes over the outdoor spaces at Sudbury Hall, run by the National Trust. With plenty of food and drink stalls, lots of local gifts for sale, and great accessibility facilities, we're looking forward to trying this one out ourselves!
21st to 23rd November. Free entry (though admission applies if you want to visit the hall or museum).

If you've not done all your Christmas shopping by Friday 6th December pop along to Ashbourne's late night shopping and enjoy the Christmas Lantern Spectacular!
A truly magical experience, offering a nostalgic step back in time. Set in the picturesque Hall Leys Park, it boasts over 200 stalls, brimming with unique gifts, handmade crafts, and festive treats. The market's Victorian theme adds charm, with stallholders in period costume, live brass bands, and traditional fairground rides for all ages. The festive atmosphere is completed with twinkling lights and carol singing, making it an enchanting day out for the whole family.
Also new for 2025, this Christmas market at Peak Wildlife Park is the perfect opportunity to get some lovely local Christmas gifts AND keep the kids entertained. Who doesn't want to see penguins and polar bears after they've enjoyed all the tasty treats the market has to offer? This one is absolutely perfect for animal-loving families.
15th November to 21st December, weekends only. Entry included in your park entrance ticket.
