Autumn is in full-swing here in the Derbyshire Peak District; our trees are full of glittering golds and beautiful browns and the nights are drawing in… which means it’s pumpkin carving time! Apple Day was first launched in 1990 on 21st October, by Common Ground. The vision was to create a calendar custom, an annual autumn holiday.
