David and I enjoyed a brilliant day out and there was certainly something for all ages, from sandpits and fairground rides to bike jumble, and delicious Derbyshire delicacies. A real family fun weekend. I have a question - perhaps you can help? What do you call a bicycle made for 3 people? I've never seen one before, but there were quite a few at L'Eroica. Not a tricycle as that has a single wheel at the front and two behind and is just for one rider - is it a Triandem?? The atmosphere was amazing ...

Our guests returned from a cycle ride yesterday to tell us of the fantastic display of icicles in the Hopton tunnel, so this morning armed with the camera we set off on the horses to take a look. It was a chilly ride and poor old Jess didn't seem too keen to go that far. We knew we were in for a good display when we met a lady carrying a 5 foot long icicle.
