Once you're ready to hit the rocks, the Peak District offers an array of climbing spots that cater to all abilities. Here are some of our must-visit locations:

Harborough Rocks

For a unique climbing experience, check out Harborough Rocks just two miles down the road from Hoe Grange Holidays. Known for its limestone formations, the routes here vary in difficulty, making it a great spot for both beginners and more experienced climbers looking for new challenges. Plus, you can explore the natural cavern in the rocks where archaeologists have found evidence of human occupation as far back as the Ice Age.

Black Rocks

15 minutes from Hoe Grange

Black Rocks is another popular climbing destination, known for its challenging routes and dramatic scenery. The dark, jagged edges provide a stark contrast to the rolling hills of the Peak District, offering a rather special climbing experience.
