A fantastic crisp winter's day, perfect for a little digging! The diggers move in again, this time to start the foundations for our new log cabin Daisybank. As we are digging into the hill side more this time and knew it was a bit rocky we went for a bigger digger - this 13 tonne tracked machine should be the boss of the job. Digging for Daisybank That is until you hit very big rocks... The driver did manage to roll them about, but will have to come back on Monday with a rock breaker, we will also have to break a few bits out that won...

Accessible Holidays, Building, General, Group Holidays, Peak District, Tourism,Daisybank under constuction 'Daisybank' our fourth self cateering log cabin is well underway in the Island Leisure's factory at Perth, Scotland. Delivery to us here in the Peak District will be some time in early December. Its design is almost the same as our Rainster cabin with adjustable wash basin in the shower room and spacious entrance hall for Wellies, rain coats and riding gear. Daisybank will also have an accessible kitchen, and we hope to achieve a rating of Mobility Level 3 Assisted in the National Accessibility Scheme. All four...

It was also rated M2 for accessibility under the National Accessability Scheme. It has a superb wetroom shower only missing M3 because of the standard kitchen lay out. Coming into land at Hoe Grange The weather over the last couple of days has been gorgeous with brilliant sunshine and blue skies, let's hope the Indian summer continues into September. Consequently we have see many hot air balloons overhead, both morning and evening, making the most of the ideal flying conditions. launching our kite surfing kite The weather has been extremely changeable this week, with rolling dark clouds, and sharp showers followed by glorious sunshine, more like October in a way than August.
