We understand that the current pandemic has created lots of uncertainty regarding planning your next holiday. However, we all need to have something positive to look forward to and booking a holiday in the peaceful Peak District countryside with flexible booking terms is the perfect antidote to lockdown.
To give you peace of mind we have introduced new flexible booking Terms and Conditions, which means you can cancel your booking up to 14 days before arrival and receive a full refund.
After the start of the first lockdown we succeeded in finding a company to insure us against your holiday cancelations whatever the reason. This worked extremely well, giving you the customer the confidence to book ahead, and us the reassurance that we would still receive most of the income, even if the holiday was cancelled at the last minute.
Sadly due to the unsurprising large number of claims due to COVID-19, Master Cancel has withdrawn the product. However before you despair all is not lost, read on!
During 2020 we found that flexible terms encouraged you all to book ahead and we were very busy in late summer. After thinking long and hard and looking at the travel market in general we have decided to continue and adjust our Terms and Conditions. This means you have greater flexibility to change your plans. You can cancel your holiday and receive a full refund, or rearrange to future dates.
From 9th January 2021, when you book a holiday in our cosy log cabins, glamping pods, or gypsy caravan, you will be able to cancel your holiday up to 14 days before arrival and still receive a full refund. There will be no cancellation fee or administration charges. Alternatively you can rearrange your holiday to a future date. (note - there may be a price difference) How amazing is that?
We are only a small family run business and can’t fully compete with the big Online Travel Agents, but we're doing our best.
Don't worry about a thing, we think you’ll find our new flexible terms very fair and reasonable. You won’t get a deal like this everywhere, even from the big boys!
If you cancel at the last minute, 13 days or less before arrival then we are unable to offer a refund. We are taking a big risk upfront so you can get the best deal and at this late stage are unlikely to rebook the accommodation.
We recognise that Coronavirus may still linger on for a while. If in the period between 13 days and 2 days before arrival, either our local restrictions or those of the lead booker prevent travel, or you test positive for Covid, or are contacted through NHS Track and Trace to self-isolate, then you would definitely receive a full refund. In this case you would need to provide evidence.
Despite these uncertain times we hope that our new flexible cancellation policy enables you to book your holiday with confidence. It’s worth remembering why you always get the best deal if you book direct with someone you trust.
