Riding Holiday UK
Taking your own horse on riding
holidays UK is a fabulous way to explore the countryside
and take in some of the most spectacular and breathtaking scenery
that the UK has to offer. Rather than leaving your best friend
at home imagine taking your own horse or pony on holiday with
you; gently hacking along miles of safe bridleways and stopping
off along the way for a relaxing picnic break.
Riding holidays in the UK are plentiful, but not many can
offer you the facilities to take your own horse with you. Hoe
Grange Holidays situated on the edge of the Peak District Derbyshire,
offers Bradmore stabling for up to 6 horses, ample parking space
for cars and horse boxes, and secure tack storage. There is a
large yard in which to groom and tack up and plenty of grazing
to keep your horse happy after a long day's ride along the High
Peak Trail, now part of the National Pennine Bridleway. Hoe Grange
Horse Holidays gives you the opportunity to spend quality time
with your horse or pony in comfortable relaxed surroundings,
so that you can take things at your own pace.
Or
for the more competitive it can be an excellent opportunity to
get your horse really fit and increase stamina. There are miles
of safe off road riding for concentrating on schooling plus the
added attraction of cantering over 250 acres of undulating farmland.
Hoe Grange Farm is an ideal self-catering holiday base from which
to explore the Derbyshire Dales on horseback.
If you want a real holiday why not leave the mundane chores
to us. Our full livery service includes mucking out in the morning,
skipping out during the day, daily turnout, fetching in and a
light groom. We will also feed your horse according to your exact
instructions if you so wish. This will leave you free to relax
after a long hard day's riding in one of our luxurious 4 star
log cabins. Both cabins are fitted out to a very high standard
and facilities include full central heating, double glazing,
TV, DVD, stereo, and well-equipped fully fitted kitchen, all
new for the 2006 season. The ensuite shower rooms are spacious
and the luxury bathrooms have whirlpool baths for you to soak
away the stresses and strains of an active day in the saddle.
For the non-riding family members and friends there are plenty
of other outdoor activities to enjoy, such as cycling, walking,
sailing, canoeing, fishing, climbing and caving. There are also
numerous places to visit whilst staying in your holiday cottage
in the Peak District, from stately homes to exhilarating theme
parks and historical working museums. Something to suit all ages
and tastes; giving everyone a refreshing break away from the
stresses and strains of everyday life.
