Holiday Cottage - Peak District
Are you struggling to find a high quality holiday
cottage in the Peak District of Derbyshire? Then look no
further, as Hoe Grange Holidays provides two superb self-catering
luxury log cabins in a beautiful country setting. The log cabins
are cosier than a traditional cottage; fully centrally heated
with double glazing and have all the mod cons that you would
expect from quality 4 star accommodation, including LCD TV, DVD,
dishwasher, fridge and freezer. The two ensuite shower rooms
are spacious and both bathrooms have double ended whirlpool baths
for you to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The cabins
are situated in a wonderful setting looking out over the striking
limestone rocks and the undulating farm fields.
A holiday cottage in the Peak District is an ideal base for
those who enjoy the outdoors, and activities such as walking,
cycling, riding, climbing, caving, sailing, canoeing and fishing.
The scenery is superb; from the dramatic deep-cut limestone dales
of the White Peak to the stark beauty of the peat-covered moorlands
of the Dark Peak. It is also the starting point for the Pennine
Way, now part of the national footpath traversing a wide variety
of terrain from the grit stone moorlands of Derbyshire up through
the Yorkshire Dales and the Tyne Valley to reach the Scottish
borders.
Hoe
Grange Holidays makes the most if it's location on the Pennine
Bridleway and offers you the opportunity to bring your own horse
on holiday with you. A chance to get your horse really fit and
increase stamina. There are miles of safe off road riding on
a local network of bridle paths and gentle undulating farm fields
to canter through. Hoe Grange is also an ideal base for the more
competitive rider. It is within easy reach of Chatsworth International
Horse Trials, Bakewell and Ashbourne Agricultural Shows, and
Flagg point to point races.
However the Derbyshire Peak District offers more than just
superb scenery for those with an interest in outdoor pursuits.
There are also numerous places to visit, and a wealth of things
to do whilst staying in your holiday cottage in the Peak District.
There is something for everyone from historical jewels such as
Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Bolsover Castle to exhilarating
thrills at Alton Towers, The American Adventure and Gulliver's
Kingdom to travelling back in time at Crich National Tramway
Museum and the Midland Railway Centre to indulging in culinary
delights such as the famous Bakewell Pudding, and Hartington
stilton. A family holiday, a romantic retreat or a get together
with old friends, Hoe Grange Holidays in the Peak District has
it all.
