Ah how cute is the puppy We have a puppy and have been looking at Log Cabin Holidays for a short break this year as they tend to allow visitors to bring their pets with them, which is perfect for us.

Yes – the puppies are already very popular with guests and family. Twix is being a great mum even though it’s her first litter. By the time you arrive on holiday the puppies will have their eyes open.

Now the girls are really excited. I expect that during our week of holiday the girls will spend almost every minute we are around the farm badgering either Michelle or I to bring them down to look at the puppies:)

Very sad to hear about the loss of the hens. I had to explain to my daughters that dealing with events like this are fairly commonplace for people who live in the countryside; however they still had puzzling frowns:( upon their faces.

You will be glad to know however that smiles soon returned to their faces at the prospect of seeing the puppies during our visit in late July:)

At long last the big moment is almost upon you!

Hope all goes well with both the delivery and installation of the new cabin in the coming week.

thanks for your comments Faith – I think the programme really did make you think how much energy you use and it had a direct impact on our youngest who now switches off lights without being asked!
Getting Oliver to wear his santa hat was quite interesting – they say never work with animals!
